Hello Buttery community! The Northshore street developments are starting to ramp up around us, so we will be using this page to continuously keep you posted on important detours and carpark works as best as we can. Check out our updates below before your first lesson. You can also receive roadwork updates from Northshore if you subscribe to https://www.yoursay.edq.qld.gov.au/northshore
Buttery Compound Maintenance (Week 1):
Renovations are taking place within the middle outdoor area of the Buttery compound during week 1 of Term 4. Studio access remains open as normal, but please watch kids closely while waiting for lessons and stay clear of any work areas.
Roadworks and Parking:
Northshore is commencing work on the large carpark behind the Buttery (between us and Eat Street) in the coming weeks. Our small carpark should remain accessible throughout the whole time. For those who use the larger carpark behind us, when it is closed, Northshore will open the carpark between The Buttery and Flipside Circus (access via Macarthur Ave, right next to the driveway you usually use). Check out the video attached for clarity.
Gate Access:
Our landlords have said they are going to start permanently locking the double gate at the back of The Buttery, previously used by students who park in the large carpark behind us to access Studio Butter and Honey (mostly guitar, keys and little rocker students). If you usually enter through that gate and arrive to see that it is locked, please use the smaller gate next to the toilets instead. See video attached for clarity.

Buttery x Melt Fest Open Mics:
You are invited to The Buttery’s Queer Open Mics at The Junk Bar as part of Melt Fest!
6:30pm Weds October 28 - Ages 18 +
Ending with a solo set from Buttery mentor Chelle from Sixth of the Sun
2:00pm Sun November 8th - Ages 12 +
Ending with a set from Buttery mentor Jed’s full band, Chiffon Magnifique
