The Buttery Queer Open Mic at The Junk Bar
As Part of Melt Fest
We are honoured to be part of Melt Fest, Brisbane’s festival of Queer Arts and Culture this year as we bring our Buttery spirit to the intimate corners of The Junk Bar for a queer-led open mic, followed by a set from one of Brissy's fav queer bands! Bring your music, comedy, poetry, or whatever you can dream of. Whether you’re a bedroom songwriter debutant, brand new band or a seasoned comic testing new material, this is your stage. In the spirit of Melt Fest, expect a warm, inclusive room where everyone (that's right, everyone!!!) is welcome, and every mistake gets an applause.
Note to performers: Arrive when doors open to get your name up on the board! The performance will kick off 20 mins after doors open.
