Mini Boppers
Music lessons for parents and babies aged newborn to 2 years old
With a focus on tackling postnatal isolation, Mini Boppers is all about bringing parents together to form some warm, genuine community through rocking out to some music with our babies. Our sessions are led by Tash James, an incredible jazz vocalist and mother of two with a history of working as a child’s counsellor and music teacher. During the sessions we will venture through movement/ dancing, bonding, pretend play, reading, singing and instrument exploration. Tash is also the creator of our custom class curriculum which involves music and books from all over the world, with a focus on works from Australia and New Zealand.
We have an initial free trial session 10:00 - 10:45am Wednesday 10th of September at Flipside Circus! Please come along to test the space out with us and meet some cool new friends. Hit here to sign up for the trial.

More about our Mini Boppers Mentor:
Tash james
Tash is a singer, flautist and songwriter, and mum to two young ones. She loves to play music with people of all ages, and especially loves to see the pride in children's eyes when they realise they are capable of not just listening to music but creating it too.
Tash gigged in London for several years with her seven-piece Funk/Jazz band; she also sang in gospel choirs in the city and is currently studying Jazz Vocals at the Queensland Conservatorium. Aside from music, she used to work as a Counsellor for children and young people, and brings her empathic and patient nature to the studio.
A former nomad, Tash is of mixed Afro-Caribbean/English/French/Portuguese heritage, and grew up in England, the Middle East and Hong Kong. She counts herself lucky to now call Brisbane home, and is so grateful to be able to bring her children up in such a beautiful place.
“Seriously awesome. Couldn’t be happier.”
